<p>I have recently gotten into the Home Theater PC realm as new technologies have emerged and made it more feasible to do so without heating up your room, running up your electric bill, being too expensive and things of that nature.  So what I am attempting to do here is give you a cheap and very reliable way of building your own HTPC using free software and showing you the types of hardware most commonly used.
